SEL Curriculum

Developer & Facilitator

For over a decade, I’ve designed and led programs that weave together creative expression and introspection—supporting people in developing emotional awareness, mindfulness, and a more authentic relationship with themselves.

My work spans youth, adults, and elders, including individuals from historically marginalized communities. Across settings, I focus on curriculum development, group facilitation, and 1:1 mentorship, creating spaces that invite reflection, creativity, and meaningful connection.

I hold a BA in Religious Studies from UC Davis and an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Prescott College, where I focused on Social-Emotional Learning Communities.

At the heart of my work is a simple intention: to help people feel more at home within themselves, and more connected to the world around them.

An Approach that Goes Beyond Traditional SEL

Identity-Centered Education

Helping youth understand the many dimensions of who they are and what they value, so they can develop a strong sense of self and show up in life with authenticity and confidence.

Creative & Reflective Learning

An approach that integrates storytelling, expressive arts, dialogue, and mindfulness to create engaging spaces where youth can express themselves creatively, and make sense of their inner experiences.

Friendship & Relational Skills

Supporting youth in learning the relational skills that shape healthy connection, including honest communication, empathy with boundaries, attentive listening, and curiosity about differences, so they can build strong, respectful relationships.

Support for Highly-Perceptive & Sensitve Youth

Helping youth recognize their depth of feeling as a strength while developing the tools to manage overwhelm and express emotions in healthy ways.

In a loud world, kids need space
to hear themselves.

Most children today are growing up with constant digital stimulation, reduced unstructured play, and fewer opportunities for reflection and social learning.

Love School provides preventative social-emotional education, helping youth develop the inner tools to:

Understand and regulate emotions

Communicate honestly and kindly

Navigate friendships and conflict

Build self-awareness and creative confidence

Inside a Love School Experience

A Love School class is not a lecture—it’s an experiential space where young people are invited to tune in, reflect, and connect.

Students might:

Practice communication through real-life scenarios
