We cultivate the attention to see deeply, listen openly, and create cultures where new possibilities can emerge.

Professional development for educators, organizations, and communities seeking more curious, connected, and creative ways of thinking.
See

Look closely.
Notice deeply.
Wonder freely.
Listen

Stay curious.
Make space.
Hear other perspectives.
Create

Reflect inwardly.
Relate outwardly.
Make meaning together.
A practice of attention that transforms how we learn, relate, and shape culture.

Mission
Sustained Seeing supports educators and learning communities in cultivating cultures of curiosity, connection, reflection, and belonging through arts-based professional learning and the practices of deep seeing, listening, and inquiry.
Vision
We envision communities where all people feel seen and heard; where curiosity is valued over certainty, multiple perspectives expand what is possible, and people have the space to notice, listen, make meaning, and grow together.

Two Lenses, One Practice
Jenna and Halley bring complementary perspectives to a shared practice: using art, reflection, dialogue, and inquiry to deepen how we see, listen, relate, and create together.

Jenna Harris is an arts educator, curator, and founder of The Atelier, a creative learning space in Sacramento dedicated to reconnecting people with their creative confidence and expanding what art can make possible.
Drawing on her background in galleries, curatorial practice, and arts education, Jenna creates experiences that invite people to look closely, ask questions, and discover meaning together. Her work centers art as a powerful tool for developing critical thinking, visual literacy, cultural connection, perspective-taking, and belonging.
Jenna believes that creativity is not a special talent reserved for artists—it is a way of being in the world. Through object-based conversation, art play, and collaborative inquiry, she creates opportunities for people to see differently, listen to one another, and participate in shaping the cultures and communities they are part of.

Halley Miglietta is a social-emotional educator, curriculum designer, and founder of Love School, a creative Social-Emotional Learning platform that helps young people develop self-awareness, emotional literacy, and more secure relationships with themselves and others.
Her work brings together SEL, mindfulness, reflective inquiry, expressive arts, and experiential learning to create spaces where people can turn inward, notice what is happening within and around them, and develop the self-awareness and relational skills needed to connect with greater authenticity.
Halley believes that meaningful learning begins with meaningful realtionship relationship—with ourselves and with one another. Through creative and reflective practices, she creates spaces for adults and young people to cultivate curiosity, self-trust, emotional awareness, and a deeper capacity to make meaning together.
